Seems pretty crappy. There was valid dialogue on it. I guess this is free, so I can´t complain, but it does make me want to see what other sites are out there, and at least consider investing my time at least partially in one or more of them. I moderate a site myself, and understand sometimes things have to be chucked, but it seems especially easy to get stuff yanked here, and gives a very big-brother-ish feel. A shame, because it´s a good site that I´ve been recommending to others. Perhaps with less enthusiasm going forward, fwiw.
It's getting more and more common, which is lame.
So that would be a yes.
Seems like it, the URL for the post is:
http://www.spanishdict.com/answers/232359/farewell-to-all#a642847
Which now links back to the main Q&A page!
Yes, Roger that would be a yes and you have hit the bullseye with that one. I noticed it earlier today and was wondering how long it would take someone else to notice it.
I had the same reaction. I also saw that one of luissitto's verbal phrase posts was closed with a note to observe the rules. In my opinion this was one of the very few truly educational series of posts being done here as of late. It was good for both English and Spanish learners. I don't know what was wrong with the threads but I am sorry to see them disappear and the author castigated.
Funny how it's always the same members complaining about the site having rules. I invite you to research and report to us other sites you have found online that have no rules, no restrictions, etc. Oh, and those sites need to be fun, friendly, and educational!

The post was left up for over a week. Thereafter, it was deleted because it was becoming a dumping ground for complaints.
If you have any further questions you can contact me via PM.

Gringo, in many of your posts you seem to voice a concern with the rules here on SD Why not contact a Moderator or Feedback directly? Publicly bashing SD every chance you get won't help.
I have just returned by some days I did not visit and now this post not found. I was looking to my comment in this post, now I forget what I said. I don't receive verification email too. What is happening?
