need help with question re: cuántos tarea

Question

The computer program instructs: Use question words to write the questions that elicited these answers. Don't forget capitalization and punctuation marks.

modelo:

Me llamo Carlos Alfonso. ¿Cómo te llamas?

The statement is: Hay mucha tarea hoy.

I tried the following: ¿Hay mucha tarea hoy? ¿Cuánta tarea hoy?

Both were wrong. I've now lost track of everything I've tried.

Any suggestions?

Try: ¿Cuánta tarea hay hoy?, I'd say it turned out to be wrong because you missed the verb, try again, if it's still wrong then we'll figure it out.

I had tried these all which it wouldn't accept: ¿Hay mucha tarea hoy? ¿Hay muchas tareas hoy? ¿Cuánta tarea hoy?
¿Cuántas tareas hoy? Hay mucha tarea hoy, ¿no? Hay muchas tareas hoy, ¿no? Hay mucha tarea hoy, ¿verdad? Hay muchas tareas hoy, ¿verdad? ¿Cuánta tarea hoy? ¿Qué hay mucha tarea hoy?

I see now I left verb out of several of those.
