That should probably be ´cuántos clases tomas este semestre´

You´re just being asked how many classes you´re taking this semester.

You could simply respond with a number (I´d recommend something outrageous like ´trece´)

or

You could be less brief and more realistic, such as ´Este semestre tomo cuatro clases´

I didn´t correct that entirely, should have been ´cuántas clases tomas este semestre´ -- Note the feminine´A´ in cuántas. - rogspax, Jun 17, 2012
