Using "bien podria"

Hi,

I was doing a search for "might as well" which always turns up many discussions...but I came across the phrase "bien podría" and I was hoping I could get some examples with context so I can grasp the usage? Thanks!

Me gustaría si alguien pudiera darme algunos ejemplos con la frase "bien podría" para que entienda como utilizarlo correctamente. Entiendo más or menos que significa al inglés pero quiero ver algún contexto. ¡gracias!

Here is part of a sentence I found when I learned that phrase and was looking for context...

...no tenemos nada que comer en casa, no tengo nada que hacer, así que bien podría estar estudiando.
