En la calle y a la calle. Any differences between them?
Podemos ir a jugar en la calle?
Podemos ir a jugar a la calle?
Do they mean the same thing? Any differences ?

Hello!
"Podemos ir a jugar en la calle?"
Podemos ir a jugar a la calle?
The sentece 1 is incorrect, because the sentence is interrogative. When in the first sentece you say "en la" the translation would be "into". When in the second you say "a la" the translation would be 'to'.
I hope which my english can be understood...
Regards!
I would sugges waiting for a native Spanish speaker to answer your question. They are usually spot on. It won't take long, be patient. Good luck!
De nada. Ojalá que te ayudara.
Thanks.
Hmmm. Yeah. I have that issue a lot being that I live in California and Mexicans speak a lot different than the formal Spanish that we learn here or in our books. I feel like that sounds funny, but if its in your book I'm sure that either one is fine. It'd just be a matter of what type of Spanish that the person you are speaking to speaks, as far as whether or not they'll get it.
But in my book, it says a la calle , I would say it's en, that's why I am asking here.
I believe that the first one would be the correct way to say it. Not entirely sure. But as far as going to the street to play I would also say that you would want to use para rather than "a" since the street is your destination.
