Hello, I'm confused about the word 'desktop'.
Refers to the table of a office? or can be used to refers the room to be used to read, learn and spend time with the computer?
Thanks a lot!

It can refer to the top of your desk, the surface of it. The desk is a piece of furniture in the office.
Nowadays, it normally refers to a desktop or laptop computer.. The smaller, portable kind, not like mine, which weighs a ton and sits on top of my tesk.

It also refers to your home page on your computer. The page where your icons are, the page you see (that you have chosen) when you go online first thing. I hope that makes sense.
