Recipe for Biscotti

Ingredients:

1/2 cup vegetable oil1 cup white sugar3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour3 eggs 1 tablespoon baking powder 1 tablespoon anise extract, or 3 drops anise oil

Directions:

1.Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets or line with parchment paper. 2.In a medium bowl, beat together the oil, eggs, sugar and anise flavoring until well blended. Combine the flour and baking powder, stir into the egg mixture to form a heavy dough. Divide dough into two pieces. Form each piece into a roll as long as your cookie sheet. Place roll onto the prepared cookie sheet, and press down to 1/2 inch thickness. 3.Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, until golden brown. Remove from the baking sheet to cool on a wire rack. When The cookies are cool enough to handle, slice each one crosswise into 1/2 inch slices. Place the slices cut side up back onto the baking sheet. Bake for an additional 6 to 10 minutes on each side. Slices should be lightly toasted.

Les dejo una receta muy sencilla pero picante, no tengo imagen pero mañana espero preparar este platillo y entonces subiré una fotografía.

Bisteces borrachos al chipotle.

Ingredientes:

  1. 1 kilogramo de bistec de res cortado para alambre.
  2. Una lata de chiles chipotles de 125 gr.
  3. Una cebolla mediana cortada en cuadritos.
  4. Una lata de cerveza clara (plisner o lager) como corona o budweiser.
  5. Queso Oaxaca, Manchego, Chihuahua o cualquiera que tengan disponible para gratinar.
  6. Sal y pimienta al gusto.
  7. Aceite de Oliva.

Modo de preparación:

  1. Poner en una cacerola el aceite de olivo y cuando este caliente freir la cebolla hasta que quede transparente.
  2. Cuando la cebolla esté transparente agregar el bistec picado, la sal y la pimienta mover para mezclar bien todos los ingredientes y tapar la cacerola para que la carne suelte su jugo.
  3. Cuando la carne esta cocida y haya soltado su jugo agregar la cerveza y los chiles chipotles, tapar nuevamente y dejar cocer por 25 minutos a fuego lento.

  4. Rectificar la sazón.

  5. Apagar el fuego y finalmente agregar el queso para que se derrita con el calor remanente del guisado.

  6. Se sirve caliente acompañado de una guarnición de arroz o frijoles fritos.


Drunk mexican steaks.

Ingredients:

  1. 2 lbs beef steak diced.

  2. One can of chipotle peppers about 4.5 oz

  3. One onion (medium size) diced.

  4. One can of clear beer. (Corona, Budweiser etc).

  5. Oaxaca, Manchego or Chihuahua cheeses (if you are in Mexico) or any other you can use to melted.

  6. Salt and pepper to taste.

  7. Olive oil.

Directions:

  1. Put some olive oil in a pan, when the oil is hot add the onion and fry untill the onion turns transparent.

  2. When the onion is transparent add the steak, salt and pepper, move all the ingredients and cover the pan in order the steak release its juice.

  3. When steak is cooked and its juice has been released add the beer and the chipotles, cover the pan and keep 25 minutes at low heat.

  4. Rectify the salt.

  5. Turn off the fire and add the chesse cover the pan and wait untill chesse has melted in the remaining heat.

  6. Serve it hot acompanied with fried beans or rice.
