"Pa que me picas" meaning?

What would a speaker (native to Mexico) mean by this question? I know "pa que" is short for para que, meaning for what reason, and "picar" is to sting or bite, if I'm not mistaken. Wondering if this is slang for something, as it was asked by a man to his significant other. Thanks in advance.

Why do you irritate me so, or words to that effect.
Irritate, annoy, harass.. that sort of thing.
I don't think it's particularily regional.
