Hello,

I wrote down on a paper this sentence but I am not sure if this is true. "La mejor pelicula de los anos 80, las grandes actores y actrices del mundo del cine. Puedo ver? esta pelicula mil veces sin cansarme, me encanta."

Thanks for your help.

"La Historia Oficial" - ekimgkc, Jun 2, 2012
The question should be: Did I manage to write this sentence correctly. Correctly is an adverb, so you need the "ly." - JoyceM, Jun 2, 2012
I see that English is not your native language. The final sentence should be: Thanks for your help. - JoyceM, Jun 2, 2012
@joyceM, it is a keyboard mistake. Sometimes when I am using the keyboard letters get missed out or I accidently ype extra letter(s).. I will correct it. i think i should me more careful. - ekimgkc, Dec 7, 2012
God!! What is wrong with me? - *type(not ype) extra letters and *be (not me) more careful. - ekimgkc, Dec 7, 2012

  1. anos needs to be años
  2. First sentence has no verb
  3. In the last sentence, I would change "cansarme" to "aburrirse". Cansarme gives the idea of physically tiring oneself. Aburrirse gives the idea of becoming bored with something. Certainly describing the possible effect of watching a movie too many times would be that one would become bored of the movie, not physically exhausted.
  4. I am assuming this is only a portion of your comments about the movie, and that you have mentioned it earlier.
  5. I would replace 80 with the word "ochenta". Generally speaking, numbers are to written as words unless they are very large.
  6. pelicula needs to be película

In number 4, I was referring to the name of the movie. - Esteban3304, Jun 2, 2012
How can I change the first sentence? Since it has no verbs, I can't think of something proper. - ekimgkc, Jun 2, 2012
You can enable your computer to type the Spanish accents by installing the U. S. International Keyboard. Here is a link to do it, if you have a Windows PC: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306560 - Esteban3304, Jun 2, 2012
You could start out with "Movie critics say that this is the ...., and put "con" before "las grandes". - Esteban3304, Jun 2, 2012
