tareas vs quehaceres

Some people have “tareas” (task, chores) about the house….like “tareas domésticas del hogar”. Some people have “quehaceres domésticos” (task, chores). Is there a difference? When should I use one versus the other? Viejito

It's likely just regional - take a look here and some say that you should add 'de casa' to tareas if you're referring to housework which makes sense, to distinguish it from homework (school).

I hope that helps smile

I use tareas domestics del hogar for household chores (laundry, dishes, etc). As for tareas, it's used mostly for other tasks such as dry-cleaning, homework, etc.
