I have translated this sentence using the passive voice. The web-site translator didn't do a very good job of critiquing it -or-translating it. Instead of giving you what I wrote in Spanish...I want you to try to translate it yourself...so I can see your ideas on this. The sentence is: "Would you watch him or would you set him free? The verbs to be used are: vigilar, dejar, andar. Viejito

I would probably use "libremente" instead of "libre".
Out of that, it looks pretty good to me.

I thought about this, but the meaning is slightly different in my opinion. You can be free and still be under surveillance, and if yo look at the question, he was instructed to use "se". - DualG, Jun 1, 2012
