Hi Friends,

As weekend is almost there what are your plans? I will try to convince my friends for a trip to some nearby resort. It is very hot here these days so not very sure if my plan will work smile

Happy Weekend!

Hola amigos!!

I know there will be lot of mistakes in Spanish translation so please correct me smile

Saludos, Rajinder S

We are expecting rain on the weekend, so my plans are to catch up on some reading...right now it's "The Seven Principals of Highly Effective People." The book basically talks about how to live your life with character and ethics, which are universal to all beings.

Mariana, I like the books that you read, ones about how to be a fulfilled, giving person (plus, I'm remembering the book you recommended to me a couple days ago). Inspiring. - robinflight, Jun 1, 2012

I'm planning to go for a hike in the mountains and afterwards, if it's warm, to go swimming (in a spring-fed pool at the base of the mountains). ¿Cómo se diría esto?

Correct: ¿Como se dice esto en ingles? Why did you use conditional? - miliard, Jun 2, 2012
I used the conditional to say, "How would you say this?" instead of "How do you say this?" Is it correct to say it this way in Spanish? We can say both in English. - robinflight, Jun 4, 2012

I am taking care of a dog for a friend, and hopefully we will be able to do some hiking together.

In England, this weekend has 4 days to celebrate the queen´s coronation 60 years ago. There will be a lot of food and flags.

Thank you all. I must admit that other than learning Spanish we also learn about different cultures and places.

Stay Blessed, Rajinder S

Hi! Great exercise! Here are some corrections:

English:

As the weekend is almost here what are your plans? I will try to convince my friends to go on a trip to some nearby resort. It is very hot here these days**, (comma)** so I'm not very sure that my plan will work.(period) Happy Weekend!
