I don't know what casado is and yucca is spelled yuca - diagonx, Jun 1, 2012
I suspect the casado means home-cooking? - annierats, Jun 1, 2012
Or, husbands? - annierats, Jun 1, 2012

I would say:

"Los Costarricenses (all one word) comen casado, chicharrón, ceviche, nigorón, y yucca. En Costa Rica, a las personas les gusta (singular before infinitive verbs) jugar fútbol, nadar, y andar en motocicleta. (The verbs in this sentence are being used as nouns, so they need to be in the infinitive form. Also "Fútbol" is stressed on the first syllable, rather than the last.)

I agree with you. The only change I'd make is "andar" instead of "montar", but this might be regional usage. You get my vote. - DualG, Jun 1, 2012
Thanks! I was wondering about that, too, but I wasn't sure... - PumpkinCalabaza, Jun 1, 2012
Really good, just remember nationalities aren't capitalized but to begin a sentence or after a period. - diagonx, Jun 1, 2012
My vote too. - annierats, Jun 1, 2012

In the second sentence, you do not need to conjugate the verbs. " ...les gustan jugar al fútbol, nadar, y montar en motos."

Los costarricenses comen casado, chicharrón, ceviche, nigoró y yuca. En Costa Rica a las personas les gusta jugar fútbol, nadar y manejar motocicletas(maybe what you meant was bicicletas).

I think, gustan jugar. Andar en motocicleta works fine, I think, anyway. I'm usually wrong so don't worry! - annierats, Jun 1, 2012

Posiblemente 'cocina de casa?'' Espero que no coman gente casada, pero ne sé nada de esta region, espero que no sean canibáles.
