Hello everyone. I think phrasal verbs are some of the most difficult to many English learners because most of them do not have a literal translation. So I have decided to learn one or two phrasal verbs every day. And I know you can help me with that, but you also need to learn Spanish, so please write the sentence in English using the PV then try it in Spanish. Then I will correct your sentence (the Spanish sentence, of course); we will help each other out.If you`re not sure about how to make a good translation ,just explain to me(In English) what your Pv means, that will help me make a better traslation. Today write sentences with "bring up".

1.- Bring up :Rear, educate a child(criar,educar).

I was brought up in Perú.

Me crié en Perú .

2.-Bring up:Mention.

Why did you have to bring that up?

¿Por qué tuviste que sacar ese tema?

3.-Bring up :Vomit(vomitar).

4.-Bring something up :Carry up(subir algo)..........(Thanks to Cassius)

Cuando él sacó al sujeto de su operación reciente, ello casi me hizo vomitar mi desayuno.

When he brought up the subject of his recent operation, it almost made me bring up my breakfast.

The lift was broken, so I had to bring the shopping up the stairs.

Nunca me ha gustado para que vomita la bilis. Es un sabor amargo y desagradable!

I have never liked to bring up bile. It is bitter-tasting and nasty!

Why do you keep bringing up that old argument?

¿Por qué sigues hablando sobre esa vieja discusión?

Después que devolví todo lo que había comido, me sentí mucho mejor.

After bringing up all that I had eating, I felt much better.

(sorry, I know that's yuck, I was just interested to learn a less formal way to say vomitar)
