First in English, then my translation in Spanish. Please correct mistakes in the Spanish translation. (I already know there are errors in the English one. That´s not what I am worried about). Primero en inglés, y después la traducción a español. Por favor, corrigeme los errores en la traducción a español (Ya sé que hay errores en la versión en inglés, pero no me importan estos errores).
Dear Tara and Felipe,
I just wanted to write you a note to express Steve´s and my gratitude. When Sarah moved into your home back in November we were really hoping her living situation would work out. You have made her such a part of your family and introduced her to your friends. She has really enjoyed living with you and I even think she will miss Gin. The transition back home will be difficult for her. She loves home but Spain is a very special place. She loves your children and will miss them very much. Thank you for including her in your wonderful holiday traditions as well as the preperation and experience of Fallas. She has a great blog so all of our extended family feel like we really know you well. She is a great writer and we all love reading about her life with you.
We also were very happy to have been able to visit with you and share your paella. The children are so cute, it was so fun watching them play. Although I want Sarah to come home since I really miss her, I know she will truly miss all of you. I hope you will skype her whenever you get the chance so she can continue her conversations in spanish. Mostly though she will want to see the kids and talk with them about their daily activities. Again thank you so much for this wonderful experience that you gave Sarah. We have always felt comfort knowing that she was safe and happy in your home.

Queridos Tara y Felipe, Queremos escribiros una carta para expresar nuestra agradecimiento. Cuando Sarah trasladó a tu casa en noviembre, esperábamos que su domicilio saldría bien. Le habéis sido parte de vuestra familia, y le habéis introducido a todos vuestros amigos. Ella ha gozado vivir con vosotros y creemos que ella le echará de menos a Gin. La transición de volver a los EEUU será difícil para ella. Ella le encanta su casa, pero España también es un sitio especial para ella. Gracias por incluirle en vuestras tradiciones de festivos así como la preparación y experiencia de Las Fallas. Ella mantiene un blog así a todos nuestros parientes parece como si os conocieran bien. Ella es buena escritora y nos encanta leer de su vida con vosotros. Éramos muy contentos con nuestra visita a tu casa y con comer la paella. Los niños son tan preciosos, y era divertido verles jugar. Aunque quieramos que Sarah venga a casa porque le echamos de menos, sé que os echará mucho. Espero que le llaméis por Skype cuando podáis para que ella pueda continuar sus conversaciones en castellano. Sobre todo, tendrá ganas de ver a los niños y hablar con ellos sobre su vida diaria. Otra vez, muchísimas gracias por esta experiencia maravillosa que le disteis a Sarah. Siempre éramos confortados saber que ella era segura y feliz en vuestra casa. Con cariño, Susan and Steve
