Cuál es la respuesta correcta de la frase de abajo: Desde hace más de un mes quería/quiero escribirte, pero hasta ahora no he tenido tiempo para hacerlo. Gracias de antemano.

Well, I´m a newb, but I think it translates roughly as

For more than a month, I´ve wanted to write you, but up until now, I haven´t had time to do it.

How to answer that has more to do with your relationship to that person than anything any of we folks can offer, so the actual answer will depend on your feelings and purpose. I don´t think it´s a matter lf language
