That is a very good statement. I agree, we need to do that. - rac1, May 27, 2012
that's exactly the reason why I just set the instruction for my latest game round in English AND Spanish! / Exactamente y por eso he hecho las instrucciónes de mis jueges nuevos en español y en ingles tmabien! - Machri, May 27, 2012
I totally agree. In fact I agreed with another member who asked for the directions to an exercise be in both languages but it still hasn't changed. I guess the exercise mistress does not agree. Oh well, whatever floats your boat. - 0095ca4c, May 27, 2012

Zayesha,

This is often a problem going both ways since many of the learners are learning Spanish as a 3rd or 4th language and must use English as the in-between language for learning.

There are are also English beginners that have a hard time posting in English and use only Spanish.

Asking for clarification helps and most of those who post in both languages are happy to help. I do this by PM all the time when I don't understand something in Spanish.

Try to ask your questions in Spanish... First it's a bit complicated, but little by little you'll write more and more sentences without mistakes.

Learning foreign languages isn't my cup of tea, but you'll see your progress in one or two years.....

Tip: practice, practice and practice

Hello, ZAYESHA!

You do have a good point. smile

I never post my questions in both languages, though. I am learning Spanish, and whenever I post a question, I write it only in Spanish. I feel that if someone cannot understand my question without a translation, then they probably should not be answering it. This way I know that the answers I get are from people who are natives or people who have a higher Spanish level.

Usually with any other posts, I try to post in English or sometimes both languages. smile

Hi Zayesha. You have a good point. I think that it's hard for the beginners on this website, including, as katydew mentioned, those who are beginning in English. However, in some cases, as I'm sure you're aware, it's not possible for those who are just starting to learn their new language to post in that language. You are right, however, it would be more courteous for those who can express themselves fully in the other language to do their posting in both languages, whether their native language is English or Spanish, or something else entirely. Good luck in your learning journey!

Hola Zayesha.
