Names said in spanish
Hey I recently moved to Texas and there are a lot of foreign folk, especially Hispanics. Apart from needing to learn more Spanish, I've always wondered how a person in another country would say your name in a different language. Is it the same? With an accent? Or different for some names? Or just completely different all together?

A name is a proper noun... meaning... your name is your name. Aside for pronunciation differences that are natural to that person... they would have the idea of pronouncing your name... as you were named. The same way as an angloparlante will pronounce 'Jesús' instead of Jesus.

The Hispanics are not foreigners in Texas. They were there long before their land was extorted from Mexico by the US government. If anyone is a foreigner there, it's the white folks.
