Any Germans here besides myself? Or somebody who's learning German?

Hey everyone,

I'm just curious to find out if I'm the only German here so far. Maybe there are others in this community I'd like to get in contact to and share our experiences.

Further: If there's anyone trying to learn German and is looking for someone to practice with, feel free to tell me!

Thanks!

The closest I get is the music of Rammstein and Die Toten Hosen - diagonx, May 23, 2012

Well, it is a bit unlike carrying coals to Newcastle, on the other hand, people who like to learn languages tend to congregate at places like this. - Lector_Constante, May 25, 2012

There are many native speakers of many languages here. Even Mandarin-Chinese and Arabic. If I weren't so focused on fulfilling my Spanish learning, I would have dabbled in trying to learn both. Mandarin and Arabic are two languages I'd absolutely LOVE to learn. One day.

Touted as the most complex languages to learn (especially for Westerners). I knew I'd have to wait until I could focused 1000% in either.. and even then, I'll have to pick just one. - sinsonte, May 23, 2012

I speak German... For the benefit of other users I mainly post in English/Spanish. Does anyone here need help w/ that, Latin or Ancient Greek? I'd be glad to help. I would love to find websites like this for other languages. Anybody know of any?

I'm not German but used to speak German when I was younger with my dad and family friends (I think we're of German decent maybe). My dad is still fluent in his German to this day but I've lost most of mine due to the fact I rarely use it. Still love the language and alot of the music. Wish I had time to pick it back up... but maybe that's where you can come in Machri. tongue wink
