Well first of all begin with "Ser y Estar" for both the translation in English is to be and this verb is used depending on the constext, however two verbs in Spanish are quite different, and as for the word "Hacer" actually is identical to "make or do" as they used to make conjugation as in the example below "Hecho en China" is the same "Made in China" on the contrary can also be used as do, "I do my homework" changes to "Hago mi tarea" I hope to be helpful. Source of information: I am from Mexico. - If you have more questions please ask.-

"Estar" is "to be," while "hacer" is "to do" or "to make," depending on context. Usually non-native learners have trouble with ser/estar (both mean "to be"), and "haber," (present is "hay," or "there is/are"). What exactly is giving you trouble? A Google search on these topics should help to clarify it, I hope. Good luck!
