Is there a way to format spanish accents without using mouse?

Doing the lessons, I find it inconvenient to have to reach for my mouse when I am trying to type quickly. I've tried using various combinations like Alt-e, Shift-e, Ctrl-Alt- e and none work. Are there no shortcuts set up for the accents?

Hi Sinsonte. The question I was referring to is called "typing accents" and was asked by Zuke. Right now it can be found on page 3 of the questions. - Esteban3304, May 20, 2012

Hi. I just answered a question about this a day or so ago. You can find my response, and others responses, under a question called "typing accents". Good luck!

Using this method (which involves using the "United States International Keyboard" you can type letters with accents in the Spanish Lessons here. It will work perfectly. - Esteban3304, May 20, 2012
I just added Spanish to the US Internation keyboard but it isn´t working tho it shows in my taskbar. Do you have to reboot to get it to work? - RachelC, May 20, 2012
No. Just click on the taskbar to indicate which keybd you want to use for the task you are performing at the moment. - Esteban3304, May 20, 2012
OK ' It was the apostrophe I needed. Now just have to try not to accidentally hit the enter key! Thanks - RachelC, May 20, 2012
