I'm so confused

Question

Hi, I'm so confused with this whole site. I have never been this confused. I just don't get anywhere by gaining points. Can anyone please help explain to me how it works?

merlyn0, you did earn points, but those were "learning points" I don't have ANY of those points, so in that case, you are better off than me. You have 1K learning points! Good for you!

• I think you are thinking about Reputation points. Those are earned when you answer correctly a question, or post a valid question. Then when people vote for you or agree with your answer or question, will add points to your "Rep" points.

As Julian said, the main purpose of SpanishDict.com is to gain knowledge and you are surely gaining that!

First you need to decide if you are here to gain points, or to enlighten your language skills.
