Unit 8 - Commands A-Z Spanish verb list

Hola a todos.

I was thinking about a nice game that could be of great use and fresh. Yo pensaba en un juego que podría ser muy útil y fresco.

I decided to start an A-Z on commands. Decidí empezar un A-Z sobre los mandatos/imperativos

Here are the ground rules (for lack of a better term) Aquí son las reglas básicas (por falta de un mejor término)

• The first poster shall start from the preceding letter and leave a command with the following letter. (la primera persona comienza desde la letra A y la siguiente persona añade desde este punto) Example/Ejemplo: A - ¡Aprende español ahora! = Learn Spanish now! Next person/La siguiente persona: B - Busca por Google = Search through Google And so on and so forth/etcétera
• You may also let users know the form of the command (tú) (usted) etc
• Vote for people and enjoy (Voten por los demás y disfruten)
• Write as much as you'd like in addition to the command. (Escriben tanto como te gustaría en adición al mandato)
• You can use negative commands. (Es permitido utilizar los mandatos/imperativos negativos (con la palabra 'no') en adición al mandato en orden alfabético)

Remember to click on "newest" before posting an answer. (Recuerdan hacer clic en "newest"/"las más recientes" antes de responder.)

Additional Note: Skip the letters K, W, X (there is one verb I found)

Xapurca. xapurcar = to stir up dirty water.

I am having trouble thinking of why you would order some one to stir up dirty water. But that's the verb.

Maybe in the negative ...... No xapurques.

Command is in the Tú form.

M - Mezclar (Infinitive command)

Mezclar los huevos revueltos con el queso, y las cebollas y papas salteadas.

Mix the scrambled eggs with the cheese, and sauteed onions and potatoes

Sinsonte, nearly all recipies I've sen use the infinitive: mezclar.. Don't ask me why! It's only a suggestion, clearly your answer is correct, grammatically. - annierats, May 18, 2012

You're right. I wasn't decided on rather to use the ustedes form or the infinitive command (which is mostly used for recipes, signs and instructions) I used it more in a manner as if I were speaking directly to a couple people. - sinsonte, May 18, 2012

It's in the (usted) form. Tú form would be (guarda). You need an accent because it adds up to more than two syllables. (Guárdalo) - sinsonte, May 17, 2012
