Moderator and Users

Question

¡Hola! Guys , could you please tell me that what is the difference between a moderator and a user on Spanish Dict. Gracias Sorry , because this question is not related to Spanish. But i seriously wanted to know the difference. Again sorry for this question.

It is a catagory for this type of questions. There are different sections to ask a question depending upon the question. Website questions, Vocab. and Grammar, Games and Challenges, Pracitice, Proofreading, Culture and Travel and Reference articles. - rac1, May 16, 2012

A moderator does just that, moderate. They make sure that things run smoothly for the users. They see that the rules are followed, make sure that questions are answered, welcome new members, post learning materials for us to learn by. Many different things of that nature.

Users are members of the site that learn Spanish or English, or both and of course you know, we post questions to get answers about things that we need more help understanding. By following the forum rules, we are able to help others as well. We have a wonderful site here with plenty of learning materials to help learn the language of Spanish or English. Take advantage of them.

I think they should change the name to members - suers has a negative conotation. lol - gringojrf, May 16, 2012

Thanks Rac for answering this Question. One more question- Are moderators appointed by the Spanish Dict or are chosen from the users ? Sorry for disturbing You all again and again on the same topic.
