Can someone help me get the basic spanish accent keys? For example I know that if I use the
alt key and type 168 I will get the ¿, can you help me get other keys using this method? Thank you for all your help.

In my opinion, the best way to enable your keyboard to make Spanish fonts (letters with accents) is to install the United States-International Keyboard. To do this on a Windows PC, go to the Control Panel, and select "Regions and Languages" (it may say something different if you are not using Windows 7). Then select "Keyboards and Languages" and then "Change Keyboards". Find "United States-International" and select it. This may sound complicated but it is not hard to do, and there is little chance that you will mess up your computer in any way by trying to do this.

Once it is installed, to make the á, all you have to do is hit the apostrophe key (located just to the left of the ENTER key on most keyboards) and then hit "a". Magically, the á will appear. Same goes for u, i, o, e. To make the ñ you have to press down on the right-hand side ALT KEY, and while holding it, hit the n. To make the ¡ do the same but hit the !

To make the ö, hit the quotes key (this is the shifted apostrophe key) and then hit the o.

Give this is try. It is the most commonly used method and by far the easiest method.

I have a document here with complete instructions on how to do this. If you want, message me, or just google "United States-International Keyboard" and you should be able to find lots of information on it. The only thing weird about this is that you have to use the RIGHT Hand alt key to make the ñ, the ¡, etc. The left hand alt key will not work! lol

In the article I have here is also included instructions on how to install the United States-International Keyboard on a Mac. - Esteban3304, May 16, 2012
Oh, and if you want to type an apostrophe or a ", all you have to do is hit the appropriate key and then hit the space bar. ¡Simplemente! - Esteban3304, May 16, 2012
Oh, and choose the floating keybar option. It is cool. Just click it to change back and forth from US-INTL and the keyboard option you are now using. - Esteban3304, May 16, 2012
Muchas gracias Esteban! - pmikan-pam, May 16, 2012

There is a small (free) download available that allows you to hit the caps lock key plus a letter key and it will type the accented letter. It even works with the question mark and is the easiest way I have found. I posted it a couple of days ago. If you want the link, let me know and I'll find it for you.
