Meaning of subido in this context.

I came across this sentence in reference to a video on youtube, "Éste video, fue subido el 15 de Octubre del 2011." I know that subido is the past participle of subir but I don't understand what it means in this context.

sinsonte is right, "upload" and "download" are "subir" and "bajar"respectively. - comunacho, May 16, 2012

Well, I just plugged it into a translator, and it is being used for upload. "This video was uploaded October 15, 2011" - sinsonte, May 16, 2012
