Avail yourself of all the lessons , use the translator and the dictionary , if you are an

English native speaker please use correct grammar and be courteous at all times ,

Welcome to the forum. In my opinion, the best place to start is with the lessons. Click on Learn and choose Learn Spanish. Then, choose Learn Spanish 1. There are video lessons there with other learning aids for each lesson. If you want to know how to translate something, choose the translate button and follow the instructions. When you have a question, come and ask it in the forum and we will try and help.

¡Hola! WelshGunner. Welcome here, I am also new to Spanish Dict , not that new but yes I am a new student of Spanish language as well as a new member to this site. My sir advised me to join this site as he found this site very useful and nice Spanish Dict is meant to help the beginners. Here everyone is free to ask anything. And every body actively participates here and help the beginners . (This is my observation.) I have learnt many things here. Hope you have fun on this site and learn nicely
