I believe something like

Les gustó el uno al otro

o

Les gustó mutuamente

However, to be sure, wait for a native to answer as these constructions confuse me as well, hehe.

Les gustaba la otra.

Gustaba because there is no time frame involved but existed at least in the past (could be continued into the future but unsure if it is or not.)
