Introducing the “Practice” Category / La Presentación de "Práctica" Categoría
Hello, SD Members!
If you have not noticed, we now have a new category called “Practice”. To get to this category click on questions and answers (“Q & A”), then “Categories”, and scroll down to find “Practice”.
The category ¨Practice¨ is intended to ask questions or topics that will help you practice the language. For example:
-- if you want to discuss where you are from or ask anyone where they are from you can post it in this category
-- if you want to encourage others to keep trying to learn here you can post a message of advice or encouragement
-- if you want to tell a good joke or riddle that you have heard and / or that is confusing you, here you can share it
Please remember that “Practice” is also a learning category, so all members are to post questions and answers in both languages, English and Spanish.
Furthermore, please refrain from disruptive questions or answers. Remember that chat talk, abbreviations and the use of all capital letters in a word is not allowed and please follow the 4/23/12 Protocols.
We hope this new category will be useful and that you have fun practicing both English and Spanish!

Si no lo has notado, ahora tenemos una nueva categoría llamada "Práctica". Para llegar a esta categoría haz clic en preguntas y respuestas ("Q & A"), luego en "Categorías", (¨Categories¨), y desplázate hacia abajo hasta encontrar "Práctica" (Practice).
La categoría "Práctica" está destinada a preguntas o tópicos que te ayudarán a practicar el idioma. Por ejemplo:
-- si quieres discutir de dónde eres, o preguntar a cualquier persona de dónde es, lo puedes publicar en esta categoría
-- si quieres animar a otros a seguir tratando de aprender ahí puedes publicar un mensaje de consejo y aliento
-- si quieres contar un buen chiste o acertijo que has oído y/o que te está confundiendo, ahí lo puedes compartir
Por favor, recuerda que "Práctica" es también una categoría de aprendizaje, así que todos los miembros deben de publicar preguntas y respuestas en ambos idiomas, inglés y español.
Por otro lado, por favor abstente de preguntas o respuestas disruptivas. Recuerda que lenguaje de ¨chat¨, abreviaturas y el uso de frases completas o palabras individuales en mayúsculas no están permitidas, y por favor, sigue Los Protocolos de 4/23/12.
¡Esperamos que esta nueva categoría sea útil y que te diviertas practicando tanto el inglés como el español!

This is great news!
We all need practice and we all need a relaxed place to post about general everyday stuff, e.g., an introduction, an announcement, a diary entry, etc.
