Prueba vs Examen

Question

Hola,

No entiendo bien la diferenzia entre las palabras Prueba y Examen. Las uso como Quiz y Test en inglés, pero no sé si es correcto.

También quiero saber cómo se dice Final Exam or Finals. ¿Qué es mejor (o correcto) El examen final, o, El último examen? ¿O otra cosa?

Both words means exactly the same in that context, however is more common to say "Examen" for the school and medical things:

"Debo estudiar para mi examen final" (I must study for my final exam/finals)

The use of "Quiz" and "Test" in spanish sounds more like "Cuestionario" to me.

prueba = quiz or smaller test worth not as many points, examen= big test, and examen final (so it's like the word final in english is what I think)

for me ,its really the same between test or examine,,its means trial or examination of a substances to see what it is, or what it contains of,, the same as well The Final / Finals,but i didn't know what the exact answer,,
