Question

Tengo un parte de mi examen oral que no se si es correcto o no;

'Use un aspecto de creando peuqueñas historias y entonces las hace conectar con un tema que todas las historis tienen en comun, como Pulp Ficcion, con que han sido comprados.'

'He uses a method/way of creating small stories and then makes them connect through a theme that all the stories have in common, like Pulp Fiction, of which it has been compared with/to.'

I was unsure about whether 'comprado' agrees to beome 'comprados' as two films have been compared, and whether I should say 'las hace' as 'películas' is feminine, or whether it would be 'les hace'. Also, if there are any other mistakes please feel free to correct them. Thankyou!

• It''s "pequeñas", not peuqueñas
• "Comprado" means "bought". You're looking for "comparado
• "Las hace" is well used, though "makes them conect" translates better as "las conecta"
• "Tienen" is in the present tense; "tengan" is the subjunctive

I think it must be something like this:

'[Él] Usa un método/manera para crear pequeñas historias y entonces las conecta con un tema que todas [las historias] tengan en común, como en "Pulp Ficcion", con la que han sido compradas.'

You are explaining his method of doing stories, not what he is doing in the present. So the things they have in common (the small stories) are "suposed" in this state, as they exist only to allow you to explain. If you are describing what he is doing, as - comunacho, May 8, 2012

Usa un aspecto de crear pequeñeas historias y después las hace tener conexiones con un tema en cual todas las historias tienen algo en comun,como Pulp Fiction = He uses a way of creating small stories and then he makes them have conections with a theme in which all the stories have something in common,like Pulp Fiction.
