Ay, Jalisco, "No Te Rajes!"

In the movie/song title "Ay, Jalisco, No Te Rajes!", what does "no te rajes" mean. I have looked up translations for "raje," "rajar." and "raja" which all mean some form of sacking, cracking, or firing, which really doesn't make sense with the rest of the words of the song. I'm guessing it is an idiom?

The song is basically a love song to the Mexican state, Jalisco. It was the theme song to the 1941 Mexican movie of the same name, based on a novel by the same name. It was sung by Jorge Negrete in the movie. You can find it on Youtube. - jumpyleg, May 7, 2012

Don't chicken out! 
It comes from the verb 'rajarse' which, yes does mean crack or split but, also colloquially means 'to back out' or 'to chicken out'.
