"cafetillo"
I am visiting the city where my friend lives, and she sent me this message:
What does "cafetillo" mean? Is it a slang word for coffee? Is she basically just saying "Let's grab a cup of coffee and you can tell me how everything is going, ok?

Yes, great question!
- I have never heard or used the word "cafetillo" to me it doesn't even sound quite right! Maybe "cafecillo" or "cafecito"
- Personally, I don't like the structure of the sentence. "Tu te vienes y..." That "tu and te" sound redundant.
- To me, a better expression should be something like this: "¡Ven y nos tomamos un café/cafecillo/cafecito y así me cuentas qué tal va todo! ¿Te parece bien?
- I know that's the way your friend messaged you, but I just wanted to point that out, in case you want to know a better way to say it.
Good question!
I've only heard "cafecito."
