how to decide where and when to put accents

How to decide where and when to put accents? As an English speaker it is very difficult for us to understand the usage of accents. Guys please help me . This is very difficult for me , to put accents as i'm an English speaker . while writing i often get confused , where and when do i have to put accents. So plzzz help me guys

There are some very simple reglitas to know the basics on the accent:

SHARP WORDS: are those with the last syllable, are accentuated ALL ending in a vowel or N or S (mom, baby, I ran, truck, ball, Marquis, etc.).

SERIOUS WORDS: those which are stressed on the penultimate syllable, except ALL are accentuated vowel, N or S (is the opposite of acute) (agile, pencil, clever, useful, breeding, weak, easy, etc).

Proparoxytones: are those with the stressed syllable in the penultimate syllable and ALL with accents (geographical, last, proparoxytone, Mexico, anemone, biblical, etc.)

IF YOU memorize FOREGOING, you'll never have trouble accentuate your work and writings. I am speaking Spanish and yet I have enough trouble putting the accent

All you need to know, is HERE, but in order to know if you have to put a tilde, you must first know where the stress is in the word.
