Profesor and Maestro difference
What's the difference between "Profesor(a)" and "Maestro/a", and how to use them in a sentence? They seem to have the same meaning, at least in my native languages, Tagalog and Bicol. Any help will be apreciated. Thank you.

Maestro is more roughly translated to teacher, while profesor is professor. I think maestro would be more used in younger grades and profesor is used in college and shows more respect and credibility. At least that is what I was taught
