Vocabulary Question... Anyone recognize this word?

I keep hearing the word Vendejo (spelling?) as a swear word but I can't find it anywhere to know the translation. can someone help me?

i think you might find that it starts with a 'p' instead of a 'v' and I think it can mean anything from just 'dumb' to something a bit stronger and coarser.
