Hi! I am looking for an English translation of the concept of entecarse/entecado. The word translates well enough to "to make sick" or "be persistent", but I do not understand the concept as it was explained to me: "for example, when a person touches a dog too much that it becomes sick"....I don't even know this concept in English! Is there anyone that can clear this up for me?

Thanks!

If anyone knows if there is a single word for this concept in English, it would help, too. I have the feeling that if there is one, it is scientific or medical jargon... - ddonovan, Apr 30, 2012

Well I think I can help with the English concept. If you play with an animal or baby too much it can cause nausea, something like motion sickness or anxiety.
