Meaning of 'anda' in this case...

In a song, it says... 'Anda, díme lo que sientes.' I was wondering what anda meant here because the translators here say something about it walks, or Gosh! Is it simply just like an interjection, or does it have something to do with walking? haha. In this case, I don't think it would have anything to do with walking considering the meaning of the phrase, but you never know I guess. smile

Anda is an interjection and command meaning "go!", "gosh!", "go on!" or "come on!". In the context of this sentence, it is probably saying "Go on, tell me what you feel", or "Come on tell me what you feel".

Well, besides what it said here on Spanish dict, I looked it up on Google translate. It said "Go". I think the song had the phrase "Go" in it such as, "Go", díme lo que sientes; in your case. Alot of songs use the word "Go".
