La forma plural de "tarea"

Voy a tratar de preguntar en español. Disculpe si mi español so es bueno.

Mientras que me acosté en mi cama cómoda anoche, pensando de mi tarea y como soy tan perezoso, la palabara "tarea" me hizo pensar. Quiero decir que no quiero hacer mi "homework" (referring to multiple units of homework, from multiple classes). ¿Debo decir "no quiero hacer mis tareas" o "no quiero hacer mi tarea"? ¿Cuál es la forma plural correcta de "tarea"? ¿Depende de como la usas?

Please feel free to correct my phrasing or grammar where I am incorrect.

Now, I will ask in English to make sure that my question is clear. So, as I laid in my bed last night in my comfortable bed, thinking about my homework and how I am so lazy, the word "tarea" made me think. I want to say that "I don't want to do my homework" (referring to multiple units of homework, from multiple classes). Should I say "No quiero hacer mis tareas" o "no quiero hacer mi tarea"? Which the the correct plural form of "tarea"? Does it depend on how you use it?

You wouldn´t say "mis tareas" because it is already referring to an unquantifiable number of homework. In English, you don´t say "homeworks." The word "homework" refers to a little or a lot.

In Spanish it is the same, and "mi tarea" is appropriate for all situations, whether you have one class's worth or fifteen hours' worth.

I don't agree at all. "Mis tareas" is correct, and it's used most of the times when referring to generic work. For homework, "mi tarea" is the way to go. - 00d312f5, Apr 25, 2012

Hello

"Tareas" is the plural form. When it means "task" you can use it in plural ("las tareas del equipo son..."), and also when talking about several homeworks in different subjects "tengo muchas tareas para el lunes" "las tareas más difíciles fueron las de castellano e inglés"
