Movies / TV with language learners
I recently saw a TV show called Switched at Birth. One of the girls that was "switched" is deaf. So the show has sign language, subtitles, translators and also relationships forming where characters learn sign language. My question is, does anyone know of a movie or tv show that has a character or characters who want to learn Spanish? I think it would be fascinating to see this same kind of thing in whatever language you are trying to learn. Seeing them make mistakes, learning, practicing and the progression of how much they've learned, plus what motivates them to continue - it has been an encouragement to me. Seeing the characters in a very different culture and trying to adapt has been really fascinating. I think it would be a great example for language learners. Thoughts?

Well only thing that comes to mind is BBC La Vida Loca. That is an immersion game where the main character - You is learning spanish. I would like to know the answer to this question too, sounds very interesting
