What is the verb in this sentence? I incorrectly assumed that there was a verb pedir, peder, or pedar but couldn't find it; and in the translator, pido is defined as a noun.

le is the verb but is a compound verb that requires ending to be complete. - algdnz, Apr 23, 2012

It is Pedir. It's irregular in the yo form. http://www.spanishdict.com/conjugate/pedir

le pido is the verb. It comes from the reflexive Pedirse.
