Hola! Un verbo irregular es un verbo que posee conjugaciones particulares según el tiempo o modo en el que sea conjugado. Hello! An irregular verb is a verb which has particular conjugations according to time or way in which is conjugated.

In short, it's when the conjugation of a verb doesn't follow the normal rules. In long, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irregular_verb.
If you go to the Conjucate tool above and try, Tener. The conjucations that come back in orange are irregular.
