Eggs over easy? Scrambled? Is it "huevos tiernas" ... ?

Hola!

In English we ask, "How would you like your eggs?"

The answers ...

1) Scrambled 2) Hard boiled 3) Sunny side up 4) Over easy (over medium, over hard)

How do I translate these into Spanish? When I go to Mexico I just order "tocino y huevos tiernas" and it is usually over easy, though sometimes it is over hard.

Please help me translate.

1...Scrambled eggs...huevos revueltos.

2...Hard boiled eggs...huevos duros or huevo cocido.

3...Sunny side up (fried eggs)...huevos fritos.

4...Eggs over easy...I've ordered "Huevos estrellados" before and had success but I've also had them bring me eggs sunny side up when ordered this way. I use hand language to clarify. We need a native speaker to help us on this last one please!

Siempre he escuchado tres opciones para ordenar huevos:

fritos= "fried eggs" or sunny side up revueltos (o revoltillo) = "scrambled" duros = "boiled eggs"

En Puerto Rico, mi mamá nos preguntaba "quieren huevos pasados por agua?". Y es cuando hacers huevo duro, no lo hierves tanto, o sea no dejas que la yema endurezca solo la clara y cuando rompes el huevo la yema esta liquida todavia. Me imagino que esto es el "over easy"? No estoy segura.

I've always heard these options when ordering eggs: fried, scrambled and boiled. In Puerto Rico, my mom would ask: do you want huevos pasados por agua (boiled) but she wouldn't boiled it too long just the white and the yolk would stay liquid. I guess this is the over easy egg but I'm not sure.

Huevos estrellados (fritos) = Sunny side up,

Si quieres pedir over easy, over medium y over hard sólo pedimos como "huevos estrellados volteados" aunque casi siempre cuando los pides así te sirven "over hard" casi no se comen "over easy" ni "over medium"

Probablemente puedas pedirlos como " estrellados volteados tiernos" si quieres "over easy"
