A friend texted the following to me:
Ultimamante siento como si usted solo estuviera checando mi tiempo ...
I don't understand "checando mi tiempo"? I know literally it means "checking my time" but that doesn't make any sense
This person is from Mexico I don't know if that helps ...

From the context, I would guess maybe saying ¨checking up on me¨?
