Another question on how to use disfrutar
I'm still confused on using disfrutar (to enjoy) and divertirse.(to have fun). Is it not right to use disfrutar reflexively (with an "se" suffix) like divertirse?

Disfrutar is used to discribe how one perceives something, so it is not reflexive .... just like entender
Divertirse is used to discribe how one feels, as in action toward one´s self, so it is reflexive...... just like sentirse

Disfrutar: to enjoy 'something'
Remember too when you enjoy something (disfrutar) you will usually use the preposition 'de' or sometimes 'con' ![]()
Juan disfruta de buena salud. John enjoys good health.
Divertirse: to enjoy 'oneself', to have fun
¡Diviértate! Enjoy yourself!

disfrutar is to njoy something..
Divertirse: to enjoy 'oneself'. thts the difference ![]()
the reflexive is when you do it to yourself so divertirse is saying that you were enjoying yourself disfrutar is just having fun. hope that helps...
