They have some different rule from English. First Spanish verbs end with -ar, -er or -ir. For present you replace -ar with -o if you want to say: I am ....ing. For example Amar: to love ; Yo amo: I love or (I am loving). Comer: to eat; Yo como: I am eating or (I eat).
