Parent chaperon
How would I say "Parent chaperon" as in the kind of chaperons that accompany students on a field trip? Sometimes they could be men, of course, and I don't think it's quite the same sense as "carabina."

To circumlocute I said "padres adjuntos para ayudar a vigilar a los estudiantes" - Mechtilde
From our SD dictionary: chaperone
to chaperone somebody -> acompañar a alguien como carabina
