Questions in spanish begin with (¿) and ends with a (?).

Usually, you use interrogative pronouns like Cuál (what/which), Qué (what), Quién (who). But of course, there are other interrogative pronouns you will learn along the way.

What are you doing?

VERB: HACER ¿Qué estás haciendo? (at this moment) ¿Qué haces? (What do you do?)

VERB: DEDICARSE ¿A qué te dedicas? (What do you do [like for a job]?)

I used the 2nd person singular Tú form of the verbs though. (informal address). You can check the other conjugations possible by going to Conjugate link on the top center of this website.

[For lessons on SER and ESTAR you can check these links in spanishdict.com]
