What am I hearing?

The parents I work with say "Puchale" when telling their kids to push a toy. I have googled this and not found anything related to "push". Empujar I know. Out of context I have gathered the meaning of "Puchale" but I want to be sure of what I'm hearing...is this slang? Is okay to repeat?
