my spanish lesson 3
hillo. good day to you! i am garriel a new spanish student from Philippines and yosécomohablartreslenguascomofilipino, inglés y cebuano) and i want to know Spanish that is why i study so hard, but without the opinion of of others and your help i cannot do this by my own, so i wrote this letter or questions to ask from you a clarification regarding my ongoing lesson in Spanish !( i preferred specially Spanish teachers).
I am still in basic now and i am using the book of john kennethleslie from north western university and his book entitled spanish for conversation-- a beginning grammar. and each of his lesson has a questions but written in Spanish.. so that i can understand it i translated it on my own!
here is the story provided by the author:
" Estamos en la biblioteca "
ahora estamos en la bibliotica . la bibliotica es muy grande. hay muchos libros en todas partes. muchos alumnos van a la bibliotica todos los días. allí leen sus libros y estudian sus lecciones. juan y maria van a la biliotica con su amigo carlos y su amiga virginia. van a preparar sus lecciones. carlos va a estudiar la lección de español. su lección es muy facíl. por eso carlos está muy contento. maria y virginia van a aprender su lección de francés y juan va a leer su libro de historia. maria y virginia están contestas, pero juan al contrario, está enojado. la lección de ellas es facíl, pero la lección de él es difícil. juan no está bien. está un poco enfermo y por eso no trabaja mucho. al fin juan dice -- no voy a trabajar más. esoty un poco enfemo. por eso voy a casa. -- maria-- dice cralos en broma -- tu hermano noi está enfermo, Es perezoso y por eso no va a trabajar más! yo, al contrario , no soy perezoso, pero estoy cansado. tu estás cansada tambien! en enfecto, todos estamos cansados. !vamos al cafe! vamos a tomar un refresco!

¿va a usted esudiar allí? are you going to study there?
¿dónde está tu hermano? where is your brother?
¿está usted a casa? are you at home?
- how to say or to ask a question if where is a person is -- referring to a place where he or she is? and where is he or she is going? how would you differentiate this two? or just translate the following questions listed below! and why you translated it that way!
